Return Policy

At Hues & Shades, customer satisfaction is our priority. If you are not fully satisfied with your purchase, you may return or exchange eligible items in accordance with the policy below.

 

1. Eligibility for Returns

  • Returns/exchanges are accepted only if:
    • The product is defective, damaged, or not as described on our website.
    • The product is unused, unwashed, and in its original condition with tags, labels, and packaging intact.
  • Products purchased on sale, clearance, or custom orders are not eligible for return/exchange.
  • Any return request for a defective/damaged product must be supported with photographs and reported within the specified timeframe.

 

2. Timeframe for Returns

  • Return/exchange requests must be raised within 48 hours of product delivery.
  • Once approved, the product must be shipped back within 7 days of approval.
  • Requests made after this period will unfortunately not be eligible.

 

3. How to Initiate a Return

  1. Email us at orders@huesnshades.com (CC: help@huesnshades.com) with your order number, reason for return, and supporting images.
  2. Our team will review your request and confirm eligibility.
  3. If approved, we will provide you with return shipping instructions or arrange a pickup (in select locations).
  4. Please ensure the product is packed securely to avoid damage in transit.

 

4. Refunds & Exchanges

  • Refunds: Once the returned product is received and passes inspection, the refund will be initiated within 7–10 business days as per our [Cancellation & Refund Policy]. Refunds will be credited to your original payment method or as store credit.
  • Exchanges: If you prefer, we can replace the product with the same or a similar item (subject to stock availability). Exchanges are processed within 5–7 business days after receiving the returned item.

 

5. Return Shipping Costs

  • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, except in cases where the product is defective, damaged, or incorrect.
  • In such cases, Hues & Shades will bear/ reimburse the return shipping charges.

1. Shipping Methods & Costs

  • Orders are shipped via registered domestic courier companies and/or India Post (Speed Post).
  • Shipping charges, if applicable, are displayed at checkout. Free shipping offers will be clearly indicated.
  • Shipping charges are non-refundable once dispatched.

2. Dispatch & Delivery Timelines

  • Orders are usually dispatched within 0–2 business days after confirmation/payment.
  • Delivery typically takes 3–7 business days after dispatch, depending on location and courier service.
  • Delays due to courier operations, weather, or unforeseen events are beyond our control.

3. Delivery Address

  • Orders will be delivered to the shipping address provided at checkout. Please ensure the address is complete and accurate to avoid delays.

4. Order Tracking

  • Once dispatched, you will receive an email/SMS with the tracking number and courier details.
  • You can track your shipment directly on the courier partner’s website.
